Music and Arts at Downtown Presbyterian Church

Music and Arts play a vital role in the community life of Downtown Presbyterian Church. This dynamic ministry headed by Lee Wright not only provides music as an integral part of the Sunday worship experience, but provides artistic opportunities for children and adults in the wider Rochester community with the Downtown Arts Link and Creative Arts for All programs.

Downtown Arts Link, a comprehensive series of music and arts events offers arts programming for all ages on three differently themed series: the Arts and Lunch Series, the Eastman Artist Series, and the Evening Spotlight Series.

Creative Arts for All includes presentations, forums, and opportunities for children and adults to flex their creative muscle in exciting new ways, contributing to our community worship experience.

Our Sunday worship generally includes participation of the Downtown Church Chancel Choir and the Children's Worship Ensemble during our September-June program year. Guest musicians and dancers often contribute to the diverse artistic experience.
